The Cavs made a key move. They traded De'Andre Hunter to get 26-year-old Keon Ellis and veteran guard Dennis Schröder. Both players can make their impact without delay and be a key for a Cavs run. The Chicago Bulls somehow were able to walk away with more than Sacramento was able to.
Overtime Bangers Tonight!
The NBA once again saw crazy overtime games, with the OKC Thunder and Indiana Pacers going double overtime with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Pascal Siakam leading the way. Giannis and the Bucks were able to dominate their way through the Brandon Ingram-led Toronto Raptors. And Steph Curry and the Warriors ended the crazy night Aaron Gordon and the Denver Nuggets were having.
Reed Sheppard's Sophomore Jump!
Reed Sheppard aims for a big leap this season. He finished the preseason strong, scoring 29 points against the Atlanta Hawks. With Fred VanVleet's season-ending injury, he could have a big season and be a starter on this team. With the Western Conference stacked, Reed could have a huge role in Houston looking good.
Is Russell Westbrook's Career Over?
No NBA team has signed former MVP Russell Westbrook, which has left a lot of fans shocked. Once celebrated for his playstyle, it seems that it no longer works in the modern NBA. With his role on teams changing, it seems like it has been difficult for Russ to adjust.
