The Orlando Magic have extended one of the best young players in the league, Paolo Banchero. A young forward who is a good playmaker who can take the ball down the lane and score at the rim. The team has extended one of the best young players in the league, Paolo Banchero! The first overall pick is getting a five-year, $239 million deal, and it was well deserved! In his three years in the league, the Magic under Paolo have taken Orlando to the playoffs twice. Last year, he missed half the season. When he returned, he played great and helped the Magic secure the seventh seed. Orlando has also done well with their top two picks, as Dwight Howard and Shaq both led the Magic to the finals. Paolo Banchero could easily join that list by leading the team to the finals, and it wouldn't be surprising if it happened soon. The Orlando Magic has done a good job adding depth around the young forward.
One of the most underrated guards in the league has been Tyus Jones. It sucks that his gamble with the Suns did not pay off, but he has now landed on a team that needs him. Jones could be great off the bench with his ability to playmake and hit threes. Tyus is good at being a floor general who can open up shots for the two stars. The Orlando Magic has done a good job in filling in their lack of shooting this off-season.
Free agent guard Tyus Jones has agreed to a one-year, $7 million deal with the Orlando Magic, sources tell ESPN. Magic officials negotiated the deal with Jones' agent Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management, which gives Jones a key role for the East contenders.

One of the best deals the Orlando Magic was able to pull was bringing back Mo Wagner for a one-year, $5 million deal. Brother of Franz was great for the few games he played last season, but it came short due to an ACL tear on his left leg. Mo looks to rebuild his value by being a good role player off the bench.
In this year's draft, the Orlando Magic have drafted Jase Richardson with the 25th pick in the draft. The young guard fills in the shooting holes that were needed for the Magic last season. Jase is a young player who has shown to be a shooter in the Summer League. Jase has shown the ability to playmake and create his shot. This off-season was well spent by the Magic!
This off-season has been awesome for the Magic. They extended their star player and added some key pieces. Desmond Bane as a third option was an awesome addition. Tyus Jones, a veteran point guard, is something that fits perfectly for the Orlando Magic. Jace Richardson can be a factor in this year's season. The East is open, and the Magic have done a good job being aggressive.
