Under the Radar Moves!

Indiana Pacers!

The Indiana Pacers have decided to keep their team together this season. The front office is not willing to pull the trigger and try to compete. Instead, they are developing their young players. Tyrese Haliburton has become a star on his team. He has made an All-NBA team and two All-Star selections. Along with long-time center Myles Turner, who is on an affordable contract. The UT alumni can play on both ends of the court. Along with extending Pascal Siakam, who had one of his best post-seasons in his career. He and Hali complement each other. The young point guard is a good passer who can get the ball to the scoring line. A talented scorer who can play off-ball. But one of the most interesting narratives was Andrew Nembhard's extension. He played well against the Knicks in game seven. He also played well against the Bucks. A true competitor who can hit some shots and guard the opposing player. Signing Obi Toppin to a cheap deal who can come off the bench. The Pacers have a deep roster that can compete for a top-four seed.

Brooklyn Nets

It is time for a rebuild! From the failed super team that happened at the start of the 2020s. To now trying to make a pivot. From going from signing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to now looking at the bottom of the East. They are looking at the 2024 off-season with Mikal Bridges running the helm. And they started hot! Trading away Mikal Bridges for five first-round picks. Putting themselves in a position where they can compete for years to come. People know Sean Marks for his talent in finding skilled individuals. They turned Spencer Dinwiddie into a good player. They made Caris LeVert into a respectable six-man and Nic Claxton into a starting center. The 2010s rebuild was similar. Finding a diamond in the rough. It seems like the Nets have found that with Jalen Wilson, who looks good. Brooklyn has more breathing room to build a good team.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves have strengthened their depth this offseason. Anthony Edwards is a charismatic superstar. He is the face of the team and the future face of the league. Longtime forward Karl Anthony Towns joins him. Jaden McDaniels is a talented wing defender. Naz Reid won Sixth Man of the Year. Rudy Gobert won Defensive Player of the Year. The team has talented players who can guard everyone. Along with having a veteran point guard in Mike Conley. The new CBA rules have made it tough for teams to keep their players. Now, teams must select draft picks. Rob Dillingham looks incredible in the summer league. Having a young point guard next to Conley. He can learn good habits from the longtime players. The future is set for Minnesota. They can become a top-three seed.
