A New Memphis Gem!
The Memphis Grizzlies have had a shitseason this year. Ja Morant's suspension for 25 games and then a season-ending injury. Along with Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams being out for the whole season, Desmond Bane and Marcus Smart dealt with injuries throughout the season. It has been a disaster. From last year, when they were the second seed, to now being the thirteenth seed in the west, despite being ass, they have one thing going for them. GG Jackson has been special. The youngest player in the NBA was drafted in the second round. He has been an absolute beast. He is in the top 10 in the rookie of the year race. He has averaged 25 points per game while shooting 50 percent. He has shot 39 percent from 3-point range. GG is a steal of the draft. A perfect player that fits along with Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Desmond Bane.

GG is the perfect young forward for Memphis. The way he can handle the ball to create his shot is impressive. GG can drive to the basket with ease, along with hitting spot-up shots. Jackson can drive to the basket and has a good Euro step. GG Jackson plays like a veteran. He is special. When Ja Morant is 100 percent, he will fit right in. GG is a great off-ball player. A gem in the second round can help Memphis make a run next season.

The Memphis front office has been one of the best since the post-Grit and Grind era. The Grizzlies have drafted one of the best point guards in the league, Ja Morant. They also drafted the defensive player of the year, Jaren Jackson Jr. Memphis is great at finding gems. Desmond Bane and Brandon Clarke were late finds, and they have prospered in Memphis. Even though this season has been awful, Memphis has been able to bring in some solid guys who can be long-term players. Vince Williams Jr., Santi Aldama, and GG Jackson have shown themselves to be NBA players. This season has been awful for the rebuilding organization. But one positive is that they have found gems. GG Jackson is a gem that can help Memphis make a run in the future.
