New Look Hornets! 👀

The Charlotte Hornets have finally brought in veterans. They have been desperate for some older players. These older players can guide the younger players through the games. The organization became known for being dysfunctional. Players were doing whatever they wanted off the court and were laughing it up on the bench. That is not good for a young locker room, as it does not produce good habits. Charlotte did well on the deadline, filling in their holes.

Grant Williams is the perfect energy guy for the Hornets. He has a reputation for being a good locker room guy in Boston. But he seemed to have rubbed the players the wrong way in Dallas. The Mavs were desperate to get rid of Grant, which they did. The hometown kid is good at shooting threes, where he is shooting 43 percent. A solid defender to add on to it. Williams is the perfect player to surround the locker room. He wants to be there, which is the best part of it. Grant is the key for the Hornets to develop good habits, along with Davis Bertans and Seth Curry.

Davis Bertans and Seth Curry are the perfect additions for the Hornets. Both are great three-point shooters who can bring veteran leadership on the court. Stretching the floor, which opens the game up for Miller and Ball. One of the coolest things about Seth being a Hornet is that it is his childhood team. His father played there, and now he is too. He is the perfect guy to have around the locker room. Bertans and Curry will also see the court more, which they didn't see much of in Dallas. Another great move the Hornets made was getting Oklahoma City Thunder players.

The Hornets have gotten younger this deadline. They went out and got Tre Mann and Vasilije Micić. Both players had been solid for OKC, but they ran into the problem of not getting minutes. Oklahoma is too talented for both to touch the floor. With this trade that happened, it has granted them minutes. And it has been nothing but special. Micić dropped 11 points with 5 out of 6 shooting and 7 assists. That is awesome for a backup point guard. Also, Mann has been able to show up since the deadline. 12.8 points per game and 5.8 assists per game in five games since wearing a Hornets jersey. He is the perfect young role player for the team. The Hornets have changed their teams. They changed not only the roster but also the personnel.

Michael Jordan has sold majority of his shares of the Hornets to Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall. He no longer has full control of the franchise. Both owners have decide to part ways with long time general manager Mitch Kupchak. It is clear that they will pick their own guy to run the organization. These moves by the owners have set the team to the right direction. They are on a winning streak of 5-1 since the deadline. Hornets went from an organization that had no direction to being a fun young team.
