NBA Finals!

The NBA Finals are on their way! The Boston Celtics have had smooth sailing to the finals. The Dallas Mavericks have had a dogfight against every team they've faced. The finals have been unpredictable for half a decade. Now, we're seeing the young Luka Doncic carry his team to the promised land. He's looking to start his legacy with a ring. Jayson Tatum has been the face of Boston since 2017. He looks to add his name next to Paul Pierce and Larry Bird. As long as the narrative of the matchup is even. The Celtics are missing their big man, who brings energy to both ends of the court. And Dallas's depth isn't as strong as compared to Boston. This final is all about luck. If Porzingis is healthy, the Celtics should win. But if Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic play well, Dallas will win their second championship.

The Celtics will win in six games versus the Mavs.

The Boston Celtics have built an incredible team this off-season. By adding one of the best big men in the league, Kristaps Porzingis, and veteran NBA champion Jrue Holiday, Both can score at will, along with guarding the best player on the opposing end. Along with resigning one of the players they drafted, Jaylen Brown. He has improved his scoring, playmaking, and defense. Brad Stevens and his team showed that they trusted Jayson Tatum. Investing in depth is crazy. Derrick White, one of the best role players in the league, can show up and become the second option. They're dominant at both ends of the court. The Celtics can get their buckets and clamp down on the other end. Jaylen Brown has had an incredible post-season. He has shined against Cleveland, Indiana, and Miami. Brown is ready to prove that he is worth the crazy contract. Jayson Tatum needs to defeat the idea that he is a final choker. This is after his embarrassing loss to the Warriors. Joe Mazzulla also needs to prove he is a good coach. That's after that embarrassing post-season last year. While the Celtics have been dominant this post-season, One player they are missing is KP. Porzingis is their rim protector. He also opens the floor for them on offense. He can stretch the floor. His trade has paid off, but his health has been a question since coming to the league. Reports state that he has been cleared for game one, but the question remains: Can he perform at that level? He has missed games for the past month. If he can stay healthy, Boston can win in six games. But if he comes in hurt and can't play well, the Celtics will struggle to win this final.

The Mavericks will win seven games versus the Celtics.

The Dallas Mavericks have been in an absolute dogfight in the playoffs. defeating the veteran Clippers team led by Hall of Famers James Harden and Paul George. They finally defeated the team. The team had beaten the young franchise player for the past few years. The Mavericks had a great season in 2022, where they went to the conference finals, proving Luka's the man. In the same off-season, they lost Jalen Brunson, who was the team's second-best player in the run. The Mavericks lost their charm and had to execute a massive trade. Kyrie Irving's trade was awesome. They got a player who seemed like he was almost out of the league to now become the second option to Luka Doncic. Seeing Kyrie change the narrative placed on him was awesome. He's focused on hoops and is now making his fourth NBA final appearance. It would be awesome to see Kyrie win his second title and prove that he is one of the greatest point guards of all time. With Luka and Kyrie being dominant as the 1 and 2 punch, the question is: can PJ Washington step up? PJ was incredible against the Timberwolves. He showed that he could play real basketball instead of the four years he played in Charlotte. Also, it was the trade that saved their season, as they cut their losses with the Grant Williams signing. The hope is that PJ can be the third option and take the pressure away from the franchise duo. Jason Kidd has proven to be the right coach for Dallas as he gets extended this post-season. The Dallas Mavericks have been the best team in the playoffs.

Conclusion

The Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks will have an entertaining final. Luka Doncic aims to be among the NBA's best. Jayson Tatum aims to lead the Celtics to gold. Jaylen Brown looks to prove that he's worth the contract he got last offseason. Kristaps Porzingis looks to beat his old team. Kyrie Irving looks to prove the world wrong. Many entertaining narratives can come from the NBA Finals. This could end up being a deep series or an all-time series. Both are franchises that have won in the past and now they look to add one more championship. The Mavs or Celtics could define that 2023–24 season!
