Minnesota Timberwolves: Building Better!
The Minnesota Timberwolves were awesome last season. Anthony Edwards is the best shooting guard in the league. A pure bucket who looks like the second coming of Michael Jordan. The way he can show his charisma on the court is incredible. He has been the perfect franchise player that Minnesota has needed since Kevin Garnett. Rudy Gobert is the most hated player in the league, which is unfair. He is the perfect rim protector. He is the defensive anchor the Timberwolves want. The trade for him has paid off big as the team continues to make a jump. Naz Reid is one of the most talented sixth men in the league. He is a huge game changer in the second unit. Karl-Anthony Towns has been one of the best bigs since coming to the league. Being a part of Minnesota's worst times, it is good to see him finally win. With those four as their important players, it has made the Wolves important. The organization continues to be one of the deepest teams in the league.
Having a veteran point guard is always a must. A player who can dictate the floor and put players in a place where they can get a bucket. Mike Conley is the exact player for that. He is one of the most underrated guards in the league. The point guard position was stacked in this era. Conley continued to show his value last season as the floor general. Along with Jaden McDaniels, who is a terrific wing player. A guy who can play great off the main players. His defense of the Suns was key to their success. He expects to improve his offense and be the best two-way role player. Nickeil Alexander-Walker is another great defender off the bench. A pure spark plug that the Wolves have at their disposal. Minnesota and Co. are impressive as hell. The organization continues to be impressive with their recent draft picks.
The Minnesota Timberwolves were one of the winners in this year's draft. Drafting a backup point guard who can develop behind Mike Conley. Rob Dillingham was a great pick according to scouts. Someone who can make an impact once the season starts. NBA writers have praised this selection. With how tight the salary cap is, it forces the Timberwolves to get younger players in the draft. To surround their key core players.
Anthony Edwards is coming into his prime. Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert are at the peak of their careers. They are the best frontcourt duo on the court, with KAT as one of the most talented offensive bigs. Rudy is one of the best defensive players. A talented rim protector. Anthony Edwards is one of the most talented young players in the league. He is a talented offensive player and has made strides on defense. If the Minnesota Timberwolves have a good season, we can see Ant win an MVP award. Along with Naz Reid, who could win another six-man award. The Timberwolves have gotten younger and better this off-season. They have built a roster that can make a final run.
