Magic in Orlando!

Magic in Orlando!

The Orlando Magic is beating everyone expectations this season! Nobody expected the magic to be shit, but they have proven everyone wrong. Orlando is one of the most fun teams in the league. Paolo Banchero becomes an All-Star in his second season. Everyone knows Paolo is one of the best young players in the world. But another player who isn't mentioned as much is Franz Wagner. A top 50 player in the league, Franz is special. He is the magic in Orlando. His game is special. The young 22-year-old is averaging 20 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 4 assists per game on 48 field goal percent. He is one of the best players in his 2021 draft class. Franz has shown his importance this season.

In January, the Orlando Magic were 3-6 without Franz. It was a tough time for the franchise. Without Franz, it forced Paolo to score more. The way he plays is incredible. Studying the way Franz drives to the rim is necessary. His footwork is awesome, and his patience is incredible as players fall for the fake. Due to the way he is able to shift and pivot, it is difficult for the defenders to guard him. He is great at handling the ball, as he is good at creating plays off the pick and roll. Also, the Franz's Floater game is a work of art. Wagner is a great off-the-ball player, as he cuts to the basket for a dunk. He is an underrated passer, as he can make great plays for other players. And he has added an incredible step-back three as it creates more shots. Not only is he a good offensive player, but he is also a good defender. With Franz's strength, there are many weak parts of his game.

Franz has some weaknesses in his game. His three-point shooting is very underwhelming. Despite him adding a step back three, which helps his game to another level, He is shooting 31% from behind the arc. Along with his mid-range jumper, which has been very weak. Also, due to the lack of strength, Franz has struggled to get to the line. Even so, Franz isn't strong in these areas. It's impressive how he became a top-50 player in the league. Wagner has shown himself to be a hardworking player, as he adds something to his game every year. He is one of the most skilled young players in the league. He could be a top-20 player in the NBA if he can add a mid-range jumper and become a consistent 3-point shooter. Even make a campaign for the All-Star or All-NBA teams. The potential is endless with this young German.

This take could sound crazy. But it's not far-fetched to say that Franz could be the second-greatest German after Dirk Nowitzki. The potential that Wagner has is out of this world. The way he has developed his game in three seasons is awesome. His footwork creates so many shots for him. Along with the floater and step-back threes, which get him buckets in a creative manner, Orlando has found its magic since Dwight Howard left. Now, they have two of the top 50 players in the league and are making the playoffs this year. The future of magic is nothing but exciting.
