Indiana Pacers: A Match Made in Heaven!

Indiana Pacers: A Match Made in Heaven!

Rick Carslie has found his guy since Dirk Nowitzki in Tyrese Haliburton. And it has been something special to see. This season, the Pacers have been the surprise of the year. They killed the off-season, earning themselves an A. Making good signings with Bruce Brown and Obi Toppin, who aren't stars, but they can be good key players for a team. The Pacers made one hell of a run in the midseason tournament, where they managed to destroy the Bucks. As of now, the Pacers have a record of 20-14, and they have the best bench in the NBA.

Tyrese Haliburton has been a generational point guard this season. It is crazy how he can be a general on the floor and set up players for shots for which they didn't know if they were open. The fact that Haliburton doesn't even need to score to be effective is crazy. He will end up in the conversation with Jason Kidd and John Stockton. In his position, people will consider him one of the greatest passers. I won't be surprised when they nominate Hali as a starting point guard in the All-Star game. He will also make the All-NBA team this season. It is crazy as fuck that a point guard is averaging 13 assists per game on only three turnovers.

The young guard has been one of the best point guards in the NBA. Before the season started, Hali said, "He is tired of losing." This shows because he has been winning this season. The ball movement on the Pacers was on point, as he had four players score 10 points at the half. Haliburton is the perfect general for this squad. The hometown kid winning with his team is beautiful. The trade with the Kings was perfect for the Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton has had the best co-star in Myles Turner for a long time.

Myles Turner has been loyal to the Pacers for close to a decade. I respect it; all Myles needs is his Legos and his fat money, and he is set. Turner is one of the most underrated players in the NBA, which is criminal. He is the perfect off-ball player who can score from the three, post, paint, and mid-range. The 27-year-old is one of the best defenders in the NBA and is one hell of a rim protector. It is crazy as hell that Myles has avoided all trades despite always being in the rumor mill. He has rode with the team in the late Paul George years, the Sabonis years, and now the Tyrese era. Now, it is paying off, as the Pacers have been a winning team. Turner has averaged 18 points per game and 7 rebounds this season. He has been one of the best key players for the Pacers, along with Bruce Brown.

Coming off an NBA championship, Bruce Brown got paid a bag from the Pacers. Earning himself a 2-year, 45-million deal, there is no denying that he has been worth the money so far. When you need a player to play with heart on both sides of the court, then Brown is the perfect role player. The champion has been perfect for the Rick Carslie system. He will always have a career due to his game being perfect for a role player. Bruce has been great for the locker room at the Pacers, and coach Rick has taken notice of that.

I thought that Rick Carlisle was washed, man. But he has proved me wrong. He is on the verge of becoming coach of the year. The Pacers have the best bench in the NBA. The Pacers ball movement has been a sight to see this season. The way Carlisle has experimented with his line-up has been special. The team made Obi Toppin come off the bench. They promoted Jalen Smith to the starting lineup and Andrew Nembhard to the lineup. The Hall of Fame coach has been on a tear this season as his team is on a six-game winning streak. The Pacers roster is special, and like a puzzle, it all fits together.

The depth on the Pacers is crazy good. Jalen Smith has contributed to the Pacers. He joined the starting lineup. Obi Toppin has been good off the bench, as he has been able to contribute to the shooting. TJ McConnell has been great for the Pacers, as he has been a good defender and passer. Benedict Mathurin is having an impressive sophomore year. He has the green light to create his own shot with the second unit. Buddy Hield has been a consistent three-point shooter since coming to the league. Aaron Nesmith has been a good shooter, as he is averaging 48 percent from three. Andrew Nembhard hasn't been healthy as of late, but he is positive when he is. The Pacers depth is crazy talented with no crazy egos. The best part is that the franchise can make moves if a bigger star is available.

The future of the Pacers is awesome. Tyrese Haliburton and Rick Carslie have been a match made in heaven. Rick is one of the most talented offensive players in the NBA today. Haliburton has one of the smartest coaches in the NBA to coach him. The Pacers roster offense is awesome, as the ball always swings around. There is no denying that the Pacers are the most exciting team in the NBA.
