The Knicks beat the 76ers in six games.

The New York Knicks came out strong in the first round of the 2024 playoffs. Jalen Brunson played out of his mind. The way he was able to score at will and get their players involved in the offense. He was able to take the Knicks to another level without Julius Randle. Josh Hart was big for the Knicks. The way he was able to hit his shots this series, along with getting rebounds, Hartenstein was huge on both ends of the court, being a good hustler on the court. OG Anunoby was able to be a good two-way forward despite dealing with an injury. Donte DiVincenzo was able to play well. Hitting key shots that the Knicks needed to win this series. From coaching to players, everything went well for the New York Knicks.

The 76ers are once again out in the first round. Despite the injuries, Joel Embiid continues to be an MVP-level player. He's dropped a 50-point game in Game 3. With an injured Embiid, it was crazy that he played at such a high level. It would have been wild to see him 100 percent healthy. Tyrese Maxey continued to be one of the most improved players in the league. He continued to be the All-Star guard that he was during the regular season. It's the perfect second option for the 76ers. Kelly Oubre was a great role player for the Sixers. Tobias Harris was awful in this series. He couldn't hit his shots in this series. Tobias didn't live up to being the third option the Sixers needed. Philly needs to have a quick shakeup this off-season.

The Cavaliers beat the Celtics by five.

The Boston Celtics were able to destroy the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games. Jaylen Brown continues to dominate in the postseason. He heard all the noise in the last offseason, and now he looks to add a ring to his finger. Jayson Tatum is one of the best two-way players in the league. He had a great two-way show. He could score at will and guard the best player at the other end. Derrick White is one of the best role players in the league. He can play off the ball, create his own, and defend the best players. Jrue Holiday was a great general on the floor, playing off his two stars. The Celtics were missing Kristaps Porzingis. Evan Mobley dropped 33 points against Luke Kornet and Al Horford. If Porzingis doesn't come back, they will miss him in future games. Boston is now ready to go to the conference finals and add another banner.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were able to sneak in a win. Donovan Mitchell had a legendary performance. He carried an underperforming cast into the second round. But he got injured and ended their season early. The Cavs missed Jarrett Allen, our second player, too. He brings a rim-protecting presence that was missing in this series. Evan Mobley hasn't made the necessary leaps on the offensive end. Caris LeVert didn't step up at all when Donovan Mitchell fell due to an injury. Darius Garland, the former All-Star, was an embarrassment this postseason. He didn't take on the needed role as the second option. The Cavs are looking to change things up in the off-season by changing their roster and bringing in a new coach. It will be interesting to see where the Cavs go.

They traded their All-Star big, Domantas Sabonis, for up-and-coming guard Tyrese Haliburton. What a debut the young core made this postseason!
