Dallas Mavericks, Hornets, and Knicks trades!

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have had many struggles throughout the season. Since the Kyrie Irving trade, we have seen the flaws that the Mavs have had, and now they have addressed them. With new ownership in Dallas, which has given more money to Mark Cuban and Nico Harrison to play with, Now, the Mavs have filled their weak wing spot with defender PJ Washington. It will be good to see him next to Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. They filled their big-man role by trading Daniel Gafford. He can help rebound and finish around the rim.

The Mavericks did not have to give up much. All they did was send Grant Williams to the Hornets along with hometown kid Seth Curry and a first-round pick. This move shows Luka that Dallas means business, as they are willing to fill in every hole in the roster. The Clippers or Nuggets should feel scared. The Mavericks have brought in help along with their franchise stars.

New York Knicks

Leon Rose has saved New York basketball. The team was once the laughing stock of the league, unable to recover from the Patrick Ewing era. Now, the team is considered one of the best organizations. Midseason trades like OG Anunoby are now trading for more depth. Alec Burke was big during the rebuild of the Knicks, and he is back. Along with veteran Bojan Bogdanovic, who has been hooping for the Pistons. This deadline has been a high-way robbery for the Knicks. Both players add scoring for the Knicks. They only gave up Quintin Grimes, a disgruntled Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, and Ryan Arcidiacono. They also traded two second-round picks. The Knicks scare other eastern teams as they look like contenders.

Charlotte Hornets

Mitch Kupchak must be on the hot seat with new ownership because, my god, he has made moves. As he moved on from Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and PJ Washington to investing in their future. The Hornets are now focused on their franchise player, Brandon Miller. They have brought in younger talent to complement him. Tre Jones is a great backup point guard to complement LaMelo Ball. Along with Vasilije Micic, who is a former Euro MVP and a great complimentary piece. The Hornets also went out to get two 2027 first-round picks. Mitch got some veterans.

The Hornets have been dying for locker room control. Now, they have brought in Seth Curry and Grant Williams, who can be good locker room leaders. That is what the Hornets have been dying for the past season, and they got it. These trades will benefit Charlotte next season, as they will have a more complete roster. The future of the franchise is bright, along with new ownership.
