Conference Finals Predictions!
The Timberwolves beat the Mavericks in seven!
The Minnesota Timberwolves have won their dogfight against the Denver Nuggets. Showing themselves to be a competitor for a potential NBA Finals run. The Timberwolves' versatility and size could earn them a trip to the finals. Jaden McDaniels will have a big task. He will guard Luka Doncic in this series. Who's one of the best offensive players in the league? Mike Conley will take on the responsibility of taking on Kyrie Irving, who has had a great post-season run. This series for the Timberwolves won't rely on depth. The Wolves' starting five will determine if they win a championship.
The Dallas Mavericks had a fun run this postseason. The Luka and Kyrie duo has been nothing but fun. When Luka struggles, it's incredible to see Irving step up. The X-factor for the Mavs will be Kyrie Irving. The way he can take over the offense will be fun to watch. Anthony Edwards has a lot on his plate against Dallas as he guards Kyrie. Luka Doncic has been an All-NBA player this year. He's a beast on the offensive end. PJ Washington should continue as an impressive third option. He did well against the Thunder. This will be a 50/50 series.
The Boston Celtics beat the Pacers by six.
The Boston Celtics are coming into this post-season hungry. They were able to dominate the Heat and the Cavs in five games. Showing the world that they are ready to take over the world. Jaylen Brown has been nothing but a hooper. He's living up to his contract. Jayson Tatum is making a run to prove that he's a top-10 player in the league. Derrick White has been the best role player in the world. The Celtics are missing Kristaps Porzingis's defense and rim protection. The hope is that he'll come back soon. KP will be essential for the Celtics in this series. The Celtics' starting five should be able to carry through this series. Being talented on both ends of the court.
The Indiana Pacers have been impressive this postseason. Rick Carlisle has been one of the best coaches of the past two decades and has not slowed down. Tyrese Halliburton has had an incredible playoff debut this year. Pascal Siakam has peaked this postseason. The way he was able to play against the Bucks was awesome. He will be a great challenge for Jayson Tatum. The Pacers need to see how their role players play. Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith need to shine for Indiana to win. Indiana's offense is good, but the problem is their defense. If the Pacers get stops, they might be able to beat Boston. But that is a big if. Regardless of the results, this was big for the young core.
