Brooklyn Nets Tanking Season!
The Brooklyn Nets have a lot of questions next season as to how Michael Porter Jr. will play as the first option. Cam Thomas and how much he will be extended. And the four rookie who will fight for minutes.
The Brooklyn Nets are rebuilding and looking to the future. General Manager Sean Marks was able to get the first four round picks in this year's draft. The Nets had many assets in this year's draft, but there was a lot of controversy. They drafted four guards, which left many people scratching their heads. The questions were about the Nets' goals for their rebuild and how they plan to build the team. Especially with Cam Thomas being an RFA and not having gotten his extension yet. Michael Porter Jr. has a lot of questions too on how he will be as a first option. The Brooklyn Nets are tanking this season, but there are a lot of questions this season.
The biggest move of the off-season for the Brooklyn Nets was the Michael Porter Jr. trade. The former champion with a huge contract now looks at a new situation where he could be the first option. Porter Jr. is a strong off-ball player who hits threes. However, there are questions about his ability to be the main option. MPJ was great playing off of the greatest playmaker ever, Nikola Jokic, and now he has to create his own shot. Michael's ability to create his shot and take players off the dribble is weak as shit. Now, with no strong creators, Porter Jr. has to be able to create for himself and others. Taking on a new role that can help his value and lead to a trade. There are questions about his role on the team and Cam Thomas's future on the Nets.
Cam Thomas is looking for a huge payday this off-season, but the CBA handicaps him from making money. Cam joins players like Josh Giddey and Jonathan Kuminga, none of whom received an extension this offseason because of the second apron. Thomas is a talented shooter. However, his weak defense and playmaking skills make the Nets hesitant to extend his contract. And with the four guards drafted, it is hard to imagine Sean Marks being in a hurry to give him a big contract.
The consenus? F*** you and the consensus @ZachLowe_NBA . This is most likely the same consensus teams who can’t guard me and send double teams from jump ball . Why are we double teaming a guy who's “not that good” make it make sense please.

Brooklyn Nets' four rookie who will be interesting to see who will be the future of the team and who will not. The four players each bring their own style to the game, and Sean Marks and Jordi Fernández will choose their future based on this. With the Nets trying to lose this season, it opens up the floor for every young player.
The Brooklyn Nets have a strong base. They feature four rookies, plus Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney in the front. Second-year Jalen Wilson returns after showing some promise in his rookie season. Terance Mann looks to rebuild his value, as he was a throw-in player in the Porziņģis trade. The Brooklyn Nets aren't going to be the hottest team, but there are questions about the roster. Who will be the future of the team? How will Michael Porter Jr. play as the first option, and will Cam Thomas get paid?
