All-Star Replacement!
All-Star Replacement!
It is always a shame when reports come out that the elected stars don't get to play in the All-Star game. Finding out that Julius Randle and Joel Embiid don't get to play is so crushing as a fan. Two top stars will be missing the weekend, which they deserve to play in. Now, the replacement will be Trae Young. He is a stud. Scottie Barnes is one of the best young players in the league.
Scottie Barnes: One of the most exciting players in the NBA right now is Scottie Barnes. He has been a beast this season, as he is the franchise cornerstone for the Raptors. Now, the Raptors have moved on from OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam to invest in their future star. After an underperforming second season in the NBA. Scottie has now proven to the world that he is the best player from the 2021 drafts. This is the first of many well-deserved selections for the young fella.
Trae Young: One of the best point guards in the East is Trae Young. He can shoot damn near half court and can throw dimes. But, unfortunately, he plays for the Atlanta Hawks. A team that stinks and doesn't want to get better. Young did not get selected because the Hawks were trash. Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Maxey are in better positions and winning games. Meanwhile, Trae is on a tenth-seeded team. A player averaging 27 points per game and 10 assists and not getting an All-Star spot is a war crime. Luckily, he has now been picked. Trae is showtime. He belongs in the all-star event.
This is a well-deserved selection for both guys. Scottie Barnes has proved that he is one of the best young players in the league. Trae Young should have already been selected, but he received his justice. The 2024 All-Stars will be a show with another talented young point guard. Another young player will make his debut.
