All-Star Game Review!

The NBA All-Star joke has been a joke for the past few years. There is no reason for basketball fans to care about this event when players do not. There is no defense on the court, and stupid blooper moments. It insults the viewers' intellect. We want to watch LeBron vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Steph Curry vs. Jayson Tatum. Even watch young guys go at it like Paolo Banchero vs. Anthony Edwards, but we do not get any of that. This All-Star selection should encourage the players, who are not bothered to play. As a fan, I hope this All-Star game saves the special weekend, as it has been losing its value.

1st & 2nd Quarter

The first two quarters are boring. There has been no defense, and players have thrown up shots like nothing. It is once again bait for highlight reels, rather than trying to rip each other's necks. These players seem uninterested in competing for bragging rights. The transition to defense is next to non, and the rim protection has been ass. The fact that the East team was able to score 104 points in two quarters proves how unserious the game is.

3rd & 4th Quarter

The defense has somehow gotten worse right now. Luka hasn't bothered to play hard at all. He has been throwing up bad shots and tried a bullshit ally opp dunk during the game. Dame and Haliburton are the only ones who seem to give a shit about this game. Scottie Barnes has had two open dunks with no defenders around him. Jaylen Brown left SGA open at the three-point line. This led to a point. Jayson Tatum did not bother to contest Devin Booker's shot. Players have had many possessions where they have wide open looks. The third quarter has been boring, and you can see it in the fans boredom. Indiana is so quiet, you can hear a pen drop.

The fourth quarter isn't any better. It has been shot chucking threes and fast break dunks. Donovan Mitchell missed an open three. That is embarrassing. Anthony Davis was too lazy to block Jalen Brunson's open fast break dunk. Karl Anthony Towns being the leading shooter is a war crime. SGA is the only All-Star that wants to put on a show. Nikola Jokic has not put any effort into playing tonight. The fact that the Eastern Conference scored 211 points and gave up 186 points proves this game was a joke.

Conclusion 

Watching this game pissed me off. This is how the NBA follows up after the NFL Super Bowl that happened last week. What happened to the game I love? This was a waste of two hours. None of these stars bothered to play hard and were ready to enjoy their days off. Damian Lillard's winning the All-Star MVP has no absolute meaning as he didn't earn it. Adam Silver should feel ashamed for presenting such a terrible product on the court. Listening to Reggie Miller and Draymond Green made my ears bleed. Taylor Rooks was the highlight for many people because she is hot. The All-Star game isn't worth reforming, as the league has tried; rather, they should throw it away. It is clear that the players do not care, so why should we as fans? This was one of the worst All-Star games I have ever watched. This weekend gets a F, and if I could give it a lower grade, I would.
