All-Star Reserves!

The NBA All-Star Reserves list has been made public. This season, many first-timers are debuting in the All-Star Game. Among them are Cunningham, Wemby, and Jalen Williams. With returning All-Stars Anthony Davis and James Harden, this game will be fun. This will be a clash between the stars of today and the stars of tomorrow, which will make this fun!

Last night on TNT, the NBA revealed its All-Star reserves list. The list ignited a debate over the snubs of Domantas Sabonis and Norman Powell from the All-Star game. Along with not having LaMelo Ball selected, who earned the most votes for his position. Also, former All-Stars like Trae Young and Devin Booker criticized the league's politics. Mark Cuban also expressed much about Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic not being picked. Regardless, these players have earned their selections. Leading their teams to a lot of success and putting up numbers that made them some of the best players in the league.

Eastern Conference Reserves!

Damian Lillard: Since joining the Bucks, he has earned an All-Star selection. Lillard was key to the Milwaukee team's success after a bad start. Lillard is a player who can score deep behind the three-point arc and is aggressive at driving to the basket. He has been the perfect floor general needed for this team to make a deep run in the offs. This was a well-deserved selection for the veteran point guard.

Tyler Herro: The Miami Heat has been a mess this season. The drama between Jimmy Butler and Pat Riley has overshadowed Tyler Herro. He has been incredible this season. He averages 24 points per game, with 47% shooting and 40% on threes. He also gets 6 rebounds and assists. Herro is a talented on- and off-ball player who has taken over a lot of Miami games. He is the Most Improved Player this season. So, this was a well-deserved selection for the 25-year-old. It will be fun to watch the debut of Tyler Herro.

Darius Garland: In his second All-Star game, he was awesome. He's had a great season. Being a key second option for the Cleveland Cavaliers this year. Darius is great at being a talented shot creator who can drive to the rim using his quickness to finish strong. Garland's ability to create plays off the pick-and-roll is incredible to watch. Garland is averaging 22 points on 50% shooting, 7 assists, and 42% on threes. After struggling the past few seasons, it's been great to watch Garland find himself. He earned his second selection.

Jaylen Brown: The Finals MVP is now a four-time All-Star. A talented scorer, a great defender, and one of the best. He can attack the basket and create for others. The Boston Celtics have been one of the best regular season teams this season with the duo of Brown and Tatum. He is great at bringing down the ball and being able to create his own shot. He is one of the most talented on- and off-the-ball players, and this was a well-earned selection for the champion.

Cade Cunningham: The Pistons are one of the league's most exciting teams. It's due to Cade's play. The Pistons haven't had an All-Star since 2019, Blake Griffin. So, it's even cooler for the young player to make it. The way Cade can drive to the basket and use his strength and height to create his shot is incredible. He is an awesome passer, making him one of the best in the league. Cade Cunningham is a candidate for Most Improved Player. He has turned around his struggling organization. He has made all the haters quiet for some weird reason; people wrote him off. But this season Cade has been able to dominate and could lead them to the playoffs.

Pascal Siakam: His third All-Star selection proves he's underrated. He has led the Pacers to a 10-12 record. Since coming to Indiana, the veteran forward has been a difference-maker. He is averaging 20.5 points per game on 53 percent shooting. Also, he is having his best three-point shooting season. This makes his case stronger. A player who started his career in the G-League now being a top player is something special; this is well deserved.

Evan Mobley: He is making his All-Star debut this season. Mobley has finally figured out the offense. The young big man has been able to stretch the floor and put the ball on the floor and finish strong at the rim. Evan is a talented rim protector and is a good rebounder. Kenny Atkinson has been able to expose Mobley's talent to the world. He has been more confident in taking on more of the scoring load. He can spot up and hit his threes, which is important for the Cavs. This was a great selection for the All-Star game as Mobley takes further steps to become a star.

Western Conference Reserves!

James Harden: The future Hall of Famer and MVP James Harden is still one of the best guards in the league today. He has been incredible in leading the Clippers to a winning record. They have no franchise player. He is still one of the best scorers and passers in the league today. Harden has been able to elevate his teammates at a high level. He has been the perfect franchise player for his hometown team. James's greatness needs to be appreciated as his career is near the end. Despite that, he has still been able to be one of the best guards in the West.

Anthony Edwards: The Timberwolves fell short of their standard last season. Still, Edwards is among the best guards in the West. He has taken over the scoring load night after night. So, he is the best shooting guard in the league today. He is one of the most dominant scorers in the league, using his strength and explosion to get to the basket. He is a great general who can create plays for others and is a good defender. Anthony is one of the future faces in the league, and he has now made his third All-Star selection!

Jalen Williams: The Thunder have dominated the West. One reason is Jalen Williams's performance. Jalen is an elite ball handler. He can easily reach the basket and create his mid-range and three-point shots. Williams has been able to use his strength to get his way to the rim. Williams is good at playing off of SGA and is a serviceable playmaker. Williams has good footwork, which creates baskets for him. Along with being able to take the ball. Jalen Williams has earned his first-ever All-Star appearance in year 3.

Victor Wembanyama: 21, is a top prospect in the league. He has made his first All-Star team. He is a dominant scorer, able to score from anywhere on the court. He is also an elite shot blocker, in the running for Defensive Player of the Year. He has been must-see TV, as we've never seen a player with this build be able to dominate. He is impossible to guard and will have all eyes on him this All-Star weekend. It will be fun to see the player of tomorrow team up with the players of today. Wemby will be the center of attention. They expect him to be a top player for the next ten years.

Anthony Davis: Making his 10th All-Star game, Anthony Davis has been one of the best big men out in the West. He has been great at being the leader for the Lakers as LeBron looks to take a lesser role. AD is one of the best off-ball players in the league who can do work in the post and the pick-and-roll. Davis is great at driving to the basket. Along with being one of the best rebounders in the league today. Davis has been a consistent star in the league today, and it is great to see him have a healthy season thus far!

Alperen Şengün: The Houston Rockets have taken the world by storm. Being a talented scorer who can bang down low and shoot the three. Along with demanding attention and making passes off the post and being able to make a pass on top of the key. Alperen is the second Turk since Mehmet Okur to make the All-Star team. Being a great pick-and-roll player who can go to the basket or pop. His talent as an all-around player earned him his first All-Star selection. Alperen Şengün is the perfect modern-day big man in the NBA today.

Jaren Jackson Jr.: The Defensive Player of the Year is now making his second All-Star team. After dealing with injuries last season, he came in with hunger. With Ja Morant not always being available, JJJ has been able to take over the team. He has been great at being the defensive anchor and has taken on a lot of offensive responsibilities. Jaren can stretch the floor and play in the post. He is a talented off-ball player and great rim protector. JJJ is one of the best shot blockers in the league today. This is the reward for Jackson Jr.'s incredible play so far this season.

The All-Star selections will always be controversial. The league is too stacked today. Many players, like Scottie Barnes, deserve a selection. He is the Raptors' future. Franz Wagner, who has improved, deserves a reserve spot. Or Norman Powell, who has had his best season this year. Though there are only 7 spots on the bench, which makes it hard for players to get their credit. All these players earned their spots in this year's All-Star game. One of the best things about it is how young the talent is. Players like Wemby, Herro, Mobley, Şengün, and Cunningham are all making their debut on that weekend. Which will be exciting to watch as the new era has started.
