2025 NBA Champions: Oklahoma City Thunder!
Oklahoma City Thunder wins their first ever NBA Championship!
The Oklahoma City Thunder has won the NBA title, becoming the youngest team to do so. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is showing everyone he’s the top player in the game. He’s on track for the Hall of Fame and stands as the greatest Thunder player of all time. At 26, he can decide to quit, and Shai would get an orange jacket in Springfield, Massachusetts. SGA is a top 75 player of all time, and he put up a legendary run against the likes of the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers. The hustle of the young player has paid off, as he elevated the play of everyone on the court. Shai's performance is going to go down as one of the greatest ever, and the ring to top it off proves that.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a magical season, leading the Thunder to 68 wins and receiving multiple awards, including MVP, scoring title, championship title, All-NBA Team honors, and Finals MVP. Being in a group with legends like Michael Jordan, Shaq, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is amazing! SGA deserved the finals MVP award as he had an amazing performance, averaging 30 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.8 rebounds per game. SGA played the right brand of basketball and had help along the way that were able to step up when it mattered.

Chet Holmgren had some doubts during the finals, but he rose to the occasion when it counted. The way he managed to record five blocks along with 18 points on 6-8 shooting was incredible. The 23-year-old understood that the lights were bright and performed commendably. He was the second-best player on the court, as Chet had the most blocks in Game 7 history. Holmgren has dealt with injuries this season, yet he played through the entire playoff run. Chet Holmgren, at the age of 23, was able to be a key player during the finals alongside his draft mate Jalen Williams.
Chet Holmgren is the youngest player since Tim Duncan with over 10 blocks in a Finals.

Jalen Williams had a rough Game 6, where he ended the game with the worst Finals performance ever. After that game, his chances of earning the Finals MVP faded. In the game before, he delivered a legendary performance with 40 points. Williams had an awesome season, earning himself an All-Star selection and now a champion. He is the perfect sidekick to SGA and was able to step up when the team needed him the most. At 24, he made his first All-NBA and All-Defense teams. This achievement set the stage for a legacy that could lead Oklahoma to retire his jersey. Not only were the big three able to step up when it mattered, but elite role players like Alex Caruso played out of his mind.

Two-time NBA Champion Alex Caruso was the biggest trade in the offseason. The way he was able to make his impact on both ends of the court is what set them apart from this year and last. His ability to guard Jokic in the second round to Randle in the WCF was impressive. AC was able to read plays and start the fast break, which would then lead to points. Caruso was able to step up big in game four, being the player of the night when SGA started slow. Alex was able to be everywhere on the court at once. With his sharpness and physical play. Alex Caruso is one of the best role players in the league on a team with a bunch of great ones.
ALEX CARUSO IN TONIGHT'S WIN:
⛈️ 20 points (2nd 20-PT game of Finals)
⛈️ 5 steals
⛈️ 7-9 from the fieldHe's the first player to record 20+ PTS and 5+ STL off the bench in a Finals game since 1974 🤯

It was fantastic to watch Lu Dort win a championship with the team that took a chance on him. From being undrafted to becoming the longest-reigning player on the roster. Lu earned himself an All-Defensive team, further adding to his value as a hustle player. Dort is a fighter, and this playoff run has shown. Isaiah Hartenstein has finally found himself a home after being on many teams trying to find a belonging. Now, earning himself a championship and a big contract being a good rotational player. Cason Wallace's defense was on point and brought in the energy needed. Aaron Wiggins had a good game five, finishing with 14 points off the bench. Oklahoma was the better team and was able to show it!
Undrafted in 2019
NBA CHAMPION in 2025WHAT A JOURNEY FOR LU DORT 👏

The Thunder are the 2025 NBA champions and one of the greatest teams ever. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a Hall of Famer and had one of the greatest regular and postseason ever. Jalen Williams and SGA will join the club of some of the greatest duos of all time. Despite being young, Oklahoma was able to win a title, becoming the youngest team to do it. Mark Daigneault was able to get the best out of his roster, which played like a veteran team. This championship is sweet for one of the best fan bases in the world!
