The NBA has so much talent out there right now, like Rudy Gobert, Trae Young, and Alperen Şengün. The media chooses the 14 best talents out of the 450 players in the league. All-Star selection is a huge endorsement for young players who are trying to make a name for themselves. Now, the young guys get to play with the big boys to prove they are the next man up!

Eastern Conference Reserve:

Paolo Banchero: What a special talent has Paolo been this season! Coming off his rookie year, he has been on a run his sophomore year. Orlando has been one of the best young teams in the league. The Magic have once again hit the mark with the generational first pick. Paolo joins the ranks with Shaq and Dwight Howard. 23 points per game, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists is crazy for someone who is only 21 years old.

Julius Randle: Julius continues to prove the haters wrong. Randle has turned New York into a must-see TV that we haven't seen in a long time. Randle won Most Improved Player in 2021. Now, he has earned three All-Star selections. He has continued to elevate his game. Though Randle won't take part in the All-Star game, there is no doubt he has earned it. He's averaged 24 points and 9 rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell: The Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled to stay healthy. One thing is for sure: Mitchell has been a beast. He has continued to be an All-NBA player, and this selection is well deserved. Under his leadership, the Cavs have earned themselves a fourth-seeded spot in the East. Donovan has been dropping an impressive 28 points per game on 59 percent true shooting.

Jalen Brunson: This man has taken over New York basketball. Jalen took a gamble with his career when he left the established Dallas Mavericks. He took his talent to the Big Apple. It has paid off as Brunson made his first ever All-Star selection, which is a huge endorsement. The Knicks have been a must-see on TV due to the play between him and Randle. Jalen Brunson deserves this selection for saving New York basketball.

Jaylen Brown: Making his third All-Star team, there is no doubt that Brown earned himself a spot. People blame him for not being able to dribble with his left hand. There is no doubt that he is one of the best players. The Celtics have been the first seed in the East, with Jaylen putting work on both ends of the court. Brown and Tatum have led Boston to success. This All-Star selection shows both players' worth.

Bam Adebayo: is one of the best defensive bigs in the NBA and a key player in the Miami Heat system. Bam puts in work on both sides of the court. He averages 20.6 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. He is no doubt one of the most underrated bigs in the league and a key to the Miami Heat's system.

Tyrese Maxey: Man, what a jump the young 23-year-old has made this season. Since the Harden trade, Maxey has fit the co-star role like a glove. averaging 26 points per game and 6 assists, Maxey has helped lead the 76ers to the fifth seed. This All-Star selection proves that Maxey is the most improved player this year.

Kawhi Leonard: is a proven champion and is now making his sixth All-Star selection. He has been healthy this season and is leading the Clippers to the third seed. Kawhi is well-known for putting on a show during the All-Star weekend, as he won the All-Star MVP in 2020. Despite the injuries and the rest, Kawhi has been one of the best players in the world.

Stephen Curry: There is no All-Star game without Stephen Curry. One of the greatest players of all time, along with being one of the greatest point guards of all time. The greatest shooter of all time is always fun to watch. The Warriors are struggling. Yet, there's no doubt that Steph doesn't belong in the All-Star game.

Anthony Davis: Despite the Lakers' poor record, Anthony Davis has been a beast this season. He is a beast on both sides of the court and is playing like the AD we wanted to see. Every time Davis makes the All-Star team, he puts on a show that we fans remember. Anthony has averaged 25 points per game and 13 rebounds, which are monster numbers. I hope the Lakers pick it up, as we don't want this run to end in a shithole.

These guys deserve their spot in the All-Star game, but there are many snubs this year. Despite the good seasons of Domantas Sabonis and De'aaron Fox, it is hard to deny any of these guys these spots. It is great that the NBA is moving in a direction where there is a ton of talent. It's awesome to see young talent make their first-ever All-Star game. The hype around the team captain picking their team will be exciting. We'll see players' views of their peers.
